23rd International Symposium on Diabetes

The 23rd International Symposium on Diabetes was organized at Hotel Grand Hyatt, Mumbai on the 6th and 7th of January 2024. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev presented his talk on ‘Time to act in CKD: Finerenone as a pillar of treatment in T2D patients’ and ‘CGM: Personalized diabetes management with connected care system’ at the conference. 

Technology Innovation Award for Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was presented the Technology Innovation Award at the 23rd International Symposium of Diabetes, organized by the World-India Diabetes Foundation and the Indian Academy of Diabetes in Mumbai. The award was for his pioneering efforts in the field of diabetes and his work in advancing technological solutions for better diabetes care.

10th Edition of National Update on Clinical Diabetes

The 10th Annual National Update on Clinical Diabetes (NUCD) virtual congress was conducted from January 13-14, 2024.  Dr.Jothydev presented his talk on ‘CGM, TIR, and new mobile apps for better outcomes in diabetes’ at the conference.

Cardio Kidney Metabolic Connect

The Cardio Kidney Metabolic Connect event was conducted in association with API Kochi Branch and IPCA at Hotel Holiday Inn, Kochi. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev talked on: Cardio Kidney Metabolic (CKM) Syndrome: The Link Between Diabetes, Kidney and Heart Disease. The new term CKM Syndrome was introduced by the American Heart Association. More than 110 doctors participated.

Diabetes India: 14th World Congress

The prestigious Diabetes India 14th World Congress was conducted at Bhubaneswar, India from 25th to 28th of January. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was a panelist for a panel discussion on ‘Embarking on excellence: Initiating insulin therapy with IDegAsp’. He also moderated the Diabetes Technology symposium. Additionally, he spoke on CGM Workshop on the topic ‘Maximizing digital in diabetes management-CGM: power of connected care’. Dr.Arun Shankar (Medical director, JDC) presented his talk on ‘CV risk score in diabetes’. Dr.Yaseen Unes (Clinical Head, JDC Haripad) spoke on the topic ‘Evaluation of sexual function in women with T2DM). Dr.Krishnadev Jothydev joined a debate on ‘Chicken or the egg- Diabetes or MASLD: What comes first?-MASLD’.
