July 17, 2019: 15th year of Kesavadev Awards

     15th P.Kesavadev Awards were given away by Hon. Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly, Shri. P. Ramakrishnan at Hotel Hilton Garden Inn during a prestigious ceremony. The Kesavadev Literary Award was won by Shri. Prabha Varma and the Kesavadev Diabscreen Kerala Award by Shri. Mohanlal.

     Ms. Seethalakshmy Dev was the Chairperson of the ceremony. Hon. Speaker of Kerala Legislative Assembly, Shri. P. Ramakrishnan inaugurated the award function by lighting the lamp and spoke. Dr. N Ahamed Pillai, Diabscreen Award judging committee member, delivered the welcome address. Hon. Governor delivered the keynote address. Recipient address were offered by Shri. M. V Pillai and Type 1 Diabetes welfare Society, Secretary Mr.Abdul Jaleel. Dr. M. K Muneer, Member of Legislative Assembly, Sri. V. Shivankutty, Chairman of Kerala Institute of Labour and Employment offered felicitation address. Mrs. Sunitha Jothydev delivered vote of thanks. 500 invited guests witnessed the award ceremony.

A drama named “Adukalayil ninnu aapilekku” directed by Dr. Thomas Mathew, Narmakairali was also screened during the event.

July 8, 2019: Free Diabscreen Kerala Diabetes Camp: Karakulam

     Diabetes detection camp was conducted by P.Kesavadev T rust in association with Trivandrum Impact Lions Club at Karakulam on 8th July.Dr. Arun Shankar, Medical Director, JDC led the camp. JDC team participated. Ms.Geethu Sanal, Chief Dietitian also lectured.
