JPEF Stalwart Physician Award 2022 was presented to Dr. Banshi Saboo for his extraordinary professional contributions at the 10th JPEF held at Uday Samudra, Kovalam on 8,9,10 July 2022. Dr Banshi Saboo was born in a remote village Kuchamal near Ajmer. His was indeed an amazing journey from the humble beginnings with his primary education in a makeshift classroom under a banyan tree to the finest portals of modern healthcare. He is now an inspiring Diabetologist and Endocrine physician of the Diabetes care & Hormone clinic “Diacare” for twenty five years. The project “Diabetes free India – 2030”, launched by Dr Banshi Saboo was acknowledged by Hon’ble President of India Shri. Pranab Mukharjee. He is the Founder of two Non Governmental Organisations, Diabetes Care India and India Sweet Registry Project and was the Managing Editor for Sadikot’s International textbook of diabetes as a tribute for Dr.Sadikot. The JPEF team is honored to present this award to Dr. Banshi Saboo.
