April 17, 2020: Lecture by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev in IMA

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev offered an online lecture on “Telemedicine and the new Medical Council of India Stipulations” on 17th April, 2020 for IMA, Nemom. Dr.Arun Shankar introduced the speaker and topic. The session was chaired by Dr.Mohanan Nair (Secretary,IMA Nemom). Dr.Abraham Varghese, State President, IMA was the special guest for the session. Dr.Mahadevan S, President IMA Nemom offered vote of thanks.

April 18, 2020: National webinar on telemedicine by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev elaborated on "Telemedicine made easy- How to practice, obeying the rules?" in the national webinar on April 18, 2020. More than 400 doctors including gynaecologists, orthopedics, physicians and diabetologists attended the national webinar.



April 21, 2020: National webinar on remote monitoring by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev presented a lecture with prime focus on Remote Glycemic Monitoring (Real Time CGM) and Remote monitoring of Insulin Pump Therapy in the National Webinar on 21 April, 2020. The theme of the webinar was "Diabetes Patient Management in the times of Social Distancing".



April 23, 2020: Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev in 24 News Encounter on Lockdown and its effects.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was part of the panel in 'Encounter' in 24 News on 23rd April, 2020. He explained the possibilities of extension of lockdown, on development of vaccines and effective medications against COVID, home-friendly testing kits etc. The program hosted by Mr.Sreekandan Nair also included other health care experts.

April 24, 2020: National Webinar by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev offered a lecture on "How telemedicine could help in managing T2DM during COVID-19 pandemic" in the National Webinar conducted on April 24, 2020. Senior physicians also took part in the brilliant discussions that followed the webinar.

April 25, 2020: Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev in M7 News Channel

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev took part in the Doctor's live program hosted by Ms.Surabhi in M7 News Channel on April 25, 2020. He answered questions on 'COVID and Diabetes' and spoke on empowering diabetes patients during the lockdown period and helping them in efficiently manage their diabetes.

April 27, 2020: National Webinar by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev on AGP interpretation

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev offered a lecture on "Clinical Interpretation of AGP and Management of T2DM patients on treatment with OADs based on AGP report" in the National Webinar held on April 27, 2020. He elaborated on prescribing medications based on Ambulatory Glucose Profile. Around 914 physicians attended the webinar across the country.

April 29, 2020: Webinar by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev on TIR

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev offered a lecture on 'Time In Range with Ambulatory Glucose Profile' in the Webinar held on April 29, 2020. He elaborated on different topics like COVID-19 crisis and impact on diabetes, evidence around TIR and AGP, TIR in the times of COVID etc. The talk was followed by a question-answer session.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was part of the expert panel including Dr.Sanjay Mittal and Legal Experts, Mr.Ankoosh Mehta and Mr.Ashwin Sapra in the National Webinar on May 1, 2020. The topic of discussion was "Telemedicine: Perspectives and Practices". Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke on “Telemedicine-know, how!”, Dr.Sanjay Mittal on "cardiologist perspective" and the Legal experts spoke on the "legal aspects of telemedicine."

May 4, 2020: Lecture in International Webinar by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev offered a talk in the International Webinar held on 4th May, 2020. The topic of the event was " Diabetes and COVID-19: An Interplay of two Pandemics". Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev elaborated on "Diabetes and COVID: Management including Telemedicine" and Dr.Unnikrishnan A.G spoke on "Interplay of two Pandemics: Epidemiology, Pathophysiology, Risk factors". Question and answer session followed. Dr.Swati Choudhary offered welcome and introduced the faculty and moderated the discussions.



May 6, 2020: National Webinar by Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev on Telemedicine

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was live in the National Webinar held on May 6, 2020 and he lectured on "Telemedicine in India: Where do we stand and the Way Forward". The next lecture was by Supreme Court Lawyer, Adv. Kapil Sankhla, Managing Director, Sankhla & Associates, New Delhi and Member of Supreme Court Bar Association on "Telemedicine: Medico-legal perspective". This was followed by heated discussions on Question & Answer session.

Dr.Rishi Jain was the moderator of the program. More than 7000 healthcare experts joined the session.

May 9, 2020: National Webinar by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev to commemorate World Hypertension Day

To commemorate the World Hypertension Day, Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev and Dr.Prabhakar Dorairaj participated in the National webinar held on 9th May, 2020. The topic of discussion was "Diabetes, Hypertension, and CV Mortality Risk in Indian patients: Empagliflozin in Perspective!".

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was live in Manorama News Counter Point along with the Honourable Minister of State, Ms.J.Mercykutty Amma, and Member of Parliament, Mr.N.K Premachandran on May 11, 2020. The discussions were mainly on strategies to be followed post lockdown and preventive measures to tackle the further spread of coronavirus in the coming days after the arrival of NRIs.
