Lecture at Digital Diabetes Summit 2020

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev gave a lecture on ‘Role of Telemedicine and Online Consultation in Covid-19 Pandemic’, at 2nd International Digital Diabetes Summit 2020 Live & Virtual conference on 8 August 2020. The theme of the summit was ‘Covid-19 & Diabetes Care with Technology’. Dr.Jayaprakash Sai was the Organising Secretary of DDS 2020.

Dr.Arun Shankar chaired a session on ”Diabetes Management during COVID 19” by Dr.R.Santhosh at the Digital Diabetes Summit 2020.

On 9 August 2020, Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev spoke on ‘Identifying Cardio-renal risk in a T2D Patient’ at a virtual event organized by East Kolkata Doctors. Dr.Binayak Sinha and Dr.Samit Ghosal were in the organizing committee of EKDG 2020.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev delivered a lecture on ‘Perils of unproven therapies in diabetes during this COVID crisis’ on 9 August, 2020 at Diabetes Today 2020 organised by TDRF. The session of this digital convention was moderated by Dr.Mohanan Nair and Dr.Sunil Prasobh.

Saving the Elders: a Covid Target: 10 August 2020

AMUSEUM and Kerala Social Security Mission hosted a webinar on ‘Saving the Elders, a COVID Target’ . The webinar was organized by Dr.Ajith Kumar G and Dr.Mohammed Asheel on 10th August, 2020. The panelists discussed experiences of various countries and the preparations to save the Elderly in Kerala from the pandemic in the coming days. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev discussed on ‘Preventing and Treating Covid in Elderly with Diabetes’. Distinguished faculty from different specialties from around the world spoke at the digital event. The sessions were moderated by Dr.Santhosh Kumar GR.

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev was part of KBC (Knowledge Badhao & Caamao) Studio discussion on Global Indians Webinar along with Dr.Harpreet Bajaj, Dr.Banshi Saboo, Dr.Rajesh Rajput on 12 August, 2020. He was also the moderator of the session by Dr.V. Mohan. United Diabetes Forum headed by Dr.Manoj Chawla, Dr.Rajiv Kovil and Dr.Tejas Shah organized the virtual event.

2nd Emergency Patient Education Program: 15 August 2020

Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev organized COVID-19 special Emergency Patient Education Program, digitally on 15 August 2020. Dr.Jothydev Kesavadev, Dr.Arun Shankar, Ms.Gopika Krishnan, Ms.Geethu Sanal, Dr.Asha Ashik, Dr.Sajna Shijin and Dr.Yaseen Unes gave their valuable insights and advices to be considered during Covid times. Hundreds of patients participated in the program. The team addressed all the concerns raised by the patients. The digital meeting concluded with vote of thanks by Ms.Sunitha Jothydev.
