9. Recipe of the Month
Quick Peanut Chaat (Spicy Indian Peanuts)
Salted peanuts - 1 cup
Small onion - ½ cup
Medium tomatoes - 2 no
Mild red chili pepper - ½ - 1
Fresh cilantro (coriander) - 2 tbsp
Lemon juice to taste (around half a lemon) - 1.5-2 tbsp
Chaat masala powder - 1 tsp
Method of Preparation
Finely chop the onion, tomatoes, coriander and chili pepper. Toss the chopped vegetables in a bowl with the peanuts.
Pour over the lemon juice and mix.
Sprinkle with the chaat masala and mix again.
Serve immediately or keep in the fridge until ready
