The world of diabetes treatment is evolving at a dynamic pace that requires harmonization with research, technical advances and device innovations. ATTD(Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes) is the brainchild of the visionaries Dr. Moshe Phillip from Israel and Dr. Tadej Battelino from Slovenia, the chairpersons of ATTD. It’s the endless efforts of the two that bear fruit as it emerged as the premier international forum to present and discuss innovative technologies and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in this field.

Over the last 10 years, the International Conference on ATTD has become the premier international forum to present and discuss innovative technologies and comprehensive overview of the latest research developments in this field. The ATTD meetings first started in 2008 at Prague with approximately 740 participants and since then had its growth dramatically as one of the most impactful meetings in diabetes and also listed as one of the top three in the world with more than 2900 participants till date. The Advanced Technologies and Treatments for Diabetes (ATTD), held from 19th to 22nd February, 2020 at Madrid, Spain marked the 13th year of the conference.

Time In Range (TIR) in diabetes first evolved at ATTD which has now become an integral component in diabetes care. JDC feels proud to be in close association with these two legends in initiating cutting edge research in diabetes and its presentations at ATTD.
