On 5 September 2021, Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev lectured on ‘Use of health technologies in the management of NCDs in resource-poor settings’ at the 6th Diabetes Educator’s International Conference organized by Dr. A K Azad Khan, Dr. Debasis Basu and Dr. Sheryl Salis. The session was chaired by Prof. Hemraj Chandalia and Dr. Bikash Bhattacharjee. The co-speakers of the session were Dr. Debasis Basu and Prof. Alan Sinclair.
Ms. Gopika Krishnan, Head, Academics, spoke on ‘Practical Aspects of Insulin Pump Therapy on the same day. The co-speakers of the session were Dr. Tvisha Parikh and Ms. Sonal Modi. Ms. Sheryl Salis, Ms. Salome Benjamin and Ms. Manju Panda were the chairpersons of the session.
Ms. Geethu Sanal, chief dietitian, JDC spoke on ‘Carb Counting- Practical Aspects’ under the chair of Ms. Sharyl Salis and Ms. Shubhada Bhanot. The co-speakers were Mr. Soumyendu Ghosh, Ms. Chhavi Kohli, Ms. Zankhana Shetty and Ms. Prajakta Sarmalkar.
