FDA clears Freestyle Libre 3 use by people aged 4 years and older

      The US FDA had granted clearance to Freestyle Libre 3 system for use in patients with diabetes aged 4 years and older. The system possesses the greatest accuracy with a MARD value of 7.9%. Freestyle Libre 3 system is the most accurate CGM with readings sent directly to a smart phone. It is the smallest and thinnest, easier to use and strongest Bluetooth integrity. The Freestyle Libre 3 system was cleared for use with Freestyle Libre 3 iOS and Android mobile apps. The Freestyle Libre app integrates with the Freestyle digital ecosystem including LibreLink and LibreView.
