Summer season for diabetes patients is a challenge with drugs and insulins easily getting damaged due to scorching sun. Read further below.

     Insulin pumps are sophisticated electronic gadgets, which mimic the human insulin secretion mechanism for otherwise incapable diabetes patients, thus ensuring a better quality of life. The main article is a review by Dr. Jothydev Kesavadev published in JAPI (official journal of the Association of Physicians of India) this month.

     This issue's Malayalam video presentation by Dr Jothydev Kesavadev is on 'Mind and Diabetes' which explains the relevance of stress, anxiety, anger etc on diabetes.
